Glenn Dale United Methodist Church will hold its outdoor worship service, “Chapel in the Woods” this summer. Join us each Sunday at 8:30 a.m. beginning
July 9 through August 20 as we enjoy a message and refreshments in the midst of God’s Creation.
This year’s theme will be “Personal God Experiences” and will feature different speakers from the congregation each week. Please contact Sheila Dalton if you would like to share the message on one of the scheduled Sundays. All of the Sundays below (with the assigned Scripture verses) are available:
- July 9 (John 17:3)
- July 16 (Romans 5:5)
- July 23 (Psalm 34:14)
- July 30 (John 6:44)
- August 6 (Psalm 34:8)
- August 13 (Isaiah 68:2)
- August 20 (John 7:17)
The regular worship service will be held later at 10:30 a.m. in the church.
